Our strategists work out where to go and how to get there. They carefully plan every step of the customer journey to make sure it meets our client’s needs. They think in touch points and tiny moments, but also in big ideas and grand plans. They are the chess masters, working in silence, always thinking about the next move.
This is where the magic happens: when a strategy becomes a creative concept. With painstaking research and sparkling brainstorms, our creatives conjure up new, innovative ideas. Always relevant and logical for the end user. But, above all that, inspiring. They add the spark.
User experience is the glue between strategy, concept, design and development. In their words: a button-philosophy. How does the end-user behave? How should an interface work? Always looking for a win-win situation, they turn client objectives into an awesome experience.
How do you visualise an emotion or show a sensation? Our designers think in pictures and have one major goal: make it crazy beautiful, sharp and perfect, down to the last detail. They try to do this all day long, but at some point we have to send them home.
Long story short: our interactive editors, video reporters and photographers are in this to create stories that matter. Without meaning, they say, there is no experience.
These are our builders, except they don’t get really dirty. With terrifying precision they construct the design, code by code, until it comes to life. Once they’ve made something beautiful, they try to destroy it with testing until they know it works on every possible device.
Every customer journey is different, and we want every story to feel personal and tailor-made. So we measure, analyse and register user interaction. We like hard facts and solid numbers, and use that data as the basis for all our communications.
Our programme- and project managers make sure it all happens as agreed. They chase and hustle, call and update, plan and prepare, and they make sure it all comes in on time and within budget. It’s a tough job, but they do it seamlessly, and always go that extra mile for a faultless delivery.

Let’s not beat around the bush: we like winning awards. And we never stop trying to add trophies to our cabinet. These are some of the awards we have won lately.
Effie Worldwide champions the practice and practitioners of marketing effectiveness. In 2012 we became the proud winners of a Golden Effie Award for our complete Bol.com case (2006-2010).
In 2012 Born05 was selected Official Honoree of the Webby Awards twice with iFly KLM Magazine, as a Result of Superior Quality.
